Pedro Romero (Ronda 1754-1839) fue con Costillares y Pepe Hillo, uno de los toreros míticos del siglo XVIII. Su habilidad como matador de toros le hizo ser el más exitoso de ellos. Se cuenta de él que mató más de 5.000 toros, el último con 77 años, sin sufrir ninguna cornada.
Pedro Romero (Ronda 1754-1839) was one of the legendary bullfighters of the 18th century, together with Costillares and Pepe Hillo. His skill as a matador made him the most successful of the three and they say that he killed more than 5,000 bulls, the last one when he was 70 years old, and that he was never gored.
