Luis Gordillo
Luis Gordillo nació en Sevilla en 1934. Lo podemos considerar el gran renovador de la pintura española de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Practicó la pintura informal, la geométrica y el Pop-Art en sus comienzos, derivando a una pintura espontánea y automática.
Luis Gordillo was born in Seville in 1934. We can consider him as the great transformer of Spanish painting in the second half of the 20th century. At he beginning of his career he experimented with an informal style of painting, geometrical and Pop Art, later moving on to a spontaneous and automatic form of painting.
