Boabdil
Boabdil (Granada 1460-Fez, Marruecos 1527) fue el último rey de Granada. Accedió al trono nazarí en 1482 tras la rebelión contra su padre Muley Hacén. Un año después fue apresado por los castellanos en los alrededores de Lucena. Liberado en 1486, las disputas a l trono con su padre y con su tío, el Zagal, favoreció la caída de Granada en 1492. Los Reyes Católicos le dieron el señorío de la Alpujarra, pero tras la muerte de su mujer, se trasladó a Fez.
Boabdil (Granada 1460-Fez, Morocco 1527), was the last Moorish King of Granada. He came to the Nasrid throne in 1482 following the rebellion against his father Muley Hacén. A year later he was captured by the Christians near Lucena and was not released until 1486. The struggle for the throne with his father and uncle, El Zagal, contributed to the fall of Granada in 1492. The Catholic Monarchs granted him the Señorío of la Alpujarra, but after the death of his wife he went to live in Fez.
